Rachel grew up in Greensboro, NC. She received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education and her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The University of North Carolina, Wilmington in 2009. Following graduation, she worked in Wilmington with a nonprofit organization doing health education. She attended Wake Forest University Physician Assistant Program and received her Master’s degree in Medical Science. Outside of work she enjoys baking and being active outdoors with her husband, her daughter and their dog, Riley.
Kristina Stanson, PA-C

Kristina was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her Master of Medical Science from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering for the Tar Heels.
KC Wheeler, C.P.O.
KC grew up in Peekskill, NY where she always had a love of science and medicine.
She attended Pace University in Pleasantville, NY where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then spent 5 years in Dallas TX, where she attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. There she received a second Bachelor of Science degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. KC completed her residencies for both disciplines at the UNC Hospital Brace Shop in Chapel Hill, NC. She achieved certification in both Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2001. She currently lives in Fuquay-Varina and enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.
Tracy Wells, RT

Tracy joined the Hey Clinic team in 2007. She graduated from Wilkes Regional Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology in 1991. After passing the North Carolina Registry, she worked at The University of North Carolina Hospitals in
Chapel Hill. Tracy has years of experience in radiology, medical assisting, and healthcare administration. She is our full time radiology technologist, but also is responsible for scheduling surgeries and outside studies and providing clinical
assistance to Dr. Hey and other providers. When she’s not at work, she enjoys traveling with family and friends, cooking, and spending time with Kevin and their Cane Corso, Rocco.

Born and raised in Western New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017. Reyanne joined our team in June 2017 as an aspiring physician. She excited about the opportunity to learn while preparing for her future in medicine. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends, reading, working out, playing basketball, and serving the church.- GO HEELS!!
Sarah grew up in Durham, NC and graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Business Management. She started at Hey Clinic as an intern, and has cross covered many roles at our clinic which makes her an excellent office manager. Her focus on team communication, and quality goes right in line with Dr. Hey’s practice style. She enjoys the family dynamic that we’ve built at the Hey Clinic and being a facilitator to allow the clinic to run smoothly. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking and serving church.

Jennifer grew up in Salt Lake City, UT and moved to North Carolina in 2004. Her background is in accounting, banking, and finance. Her degree is from Salt Lake City College. She has been fortunate to have worked with several doctors over the years and to now offer our patients the benefit of over a decade of experience in medical billing and coding. In her downtime she loves to travel, read, garden, and spend time with her husband and daughteic is my first medical office, and I couldn’t be happier anywhere else. Dr. Hey gets to know and truly cares about his patients, and the rest of the team is happy to follow his lead. I’m learning how to blend business and compassion from the best people.”

Austin grew up in Durham, NC and graduated from UNC – Chapel Hill. He joined Hey Clinic as our programmer and is pro-active in solving issues with workflow or manipulation of the data we collect for each guest we see. He is a great addition to our clinic family and is great at understanding a co-workers requests and translating them into a technical solution. When he is not helping maintain and improve our systems he enjoys camping and canoeing for vacations.
Director of Education and Research

She has a degree in Marketing and Advertising. Since raising her children, she has held several positions in media both as Publisher of a local newspaper and in advertising sales. Wendy is able to bring a unique perspective to our office as she is a Mom of one of our patients. This helps us to consider the patient’s and caregiver’s needs when creating systems for our office. She handles other responsibilities as well such as education of local providers regarding spinal deformity and representing our office at conferences. She lives in Willow Springs and enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children.
